Role Overview

Aqar Landscape LLC is hiring a Senior Accountant in Dubai, UAE. This position is ideal for experienced accounting professionals with proven expertise in financial accounting and reporting, strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards and tax regulations, supervisory experience, and the ability to manage accounting operations, prepare financial statements, oversee team members, and support business operations in the landscaping industry.

Financial Accounting and Reporting

Manage financial accounting and reporting by maintaining general ledger, processing journal entries, reconciling accounts, preparing month-end and year-end closings, generating financial statements, and ensuring accurate financial records.

Financial Statements Preparation

Prepare financial statements including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, management accounts, variance analysis, and comprehensive financial reports that support decision-making and business planning.

Accounts Payable and Receivable Management

Oversee accounts payable and receivable by managing supplier invoices, processing payments, tracking customer invoices, following up on collections, managing aging reports, and ensuring timely processing and healthy cash flow.

VAT Compliance and Filing

Ensure VAT compliance and filing by calculating VAT on transactions, maintaining VAT records, preparing VAT returns, filing with Federal Tax Authority (FTA), ensuring timely submissions, and keeping current with UAE VAT regulations.

Bank Reconciliation and Cash Management

Perform bank reconciliation by matching bank statements with company records, identifying discrepancies, investigating variances, managing cash positions, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring accurate cash management.
