Drive Financial Excellence at Dubai's Premier Beachfront Resort

Dubai Marine Beach Resort is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant in Dubai to manage financial operations, prepare accurate reports, ensure compliance, and support the financial health of our luxury beachfront property. You'll be a key member of the finance team at one of Dubai's established hospitality destinations.

Manage Day-to-Day Accounting Operations

You'll oversee daily accounting activities including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable processing, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and maintaining accurate financial records. You'll ensure all transactions are recorded properly, accounts are balanced, and the books reflect true financial position.

Prepare Monthly Financial Statements

You'll close the books each month and prepare comprehensive financial statements – profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and supporting schedules. You'll analyze results, explain variances, provide commentary on performance, and deliver timely, accurate reports that management relies on for decision-making.

Handle Hospitality-Specific Accounting

Resort accounting has unique aspects. You'll manage room revenue accounting, F&B revenue tracking, banquet and event revenue recognition, advance deposits from guests, travel agent commissions, revenue share arrangements, and the complex revenue streams that characterize beachfront resort operations.

Reconcile Accounts and Balances

You'll perform bank reconciliations, reconcile supplier statements, verify intercompany balances, reconcile guest ledgers, clear suspense accounts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure all accounts tie out accurately every month without outstanding reconciliation items.
