Role Overview – Links Corporate Consultants a growing Real Estate / Facility Management organization in Ajman is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a salary of AED.. This position is ideal for finance professionals with UAE experience who enjoy hands-on accounting, compliance, and reporting responsibilities. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, supporting financial reporting, and maintaining accurate records within ERP systems.

Daily Accounting Operations Management – You will handle daily accounting operations including General Ledger (GL) management, Accounts Payable (AP) processing, and Accounts Receivable (AR) management. You will record financial transactions, process journal entries, manage vendor invoices and payments, track customer invoices and collections, maintain subsidiary ledgers, ensure accurate and timely transaction recording, and oversee comprehensive day-to-day accounting activities.

Financial Statements Preparation – You will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, trial balance, and comprehensive financial reports. You will compile financial data, prepare financial statement schedules, ensure accuracy and completeness, analyze financial results, provide variance explanations, and deliver timely financial statements that support management decision-making.

Bank Reconciliations – You will reconcile bank accounts by matching bank statements with accounting records, identifying reconciling items such as outstanding checks and deposits in transit, investigating discrepancies, clearing outstanding transactions, adjusting book balances when necessary, preparing detailed bank reconciliation statements, and ensuring all bank accounts are reconciled accurately and completely on monthly basis.

Supplier Statement Reconciliations – You will reconcile supplier statements with accounts payable records, verify outstanding balances, identify discrepancies between company records and vendor statements, investigate payment differences, resolve reconciliation issues with vendors, clear old outstanding items, maintain accurate vendor balances, and ensure supplier accounts are properly reconciled.

Inter-Company Balances Reconciliation – You will manage inter-company reconciliations by matching inter-company transactions between related entities within the organization, verifying inter-company receivables and payables, investigating inter-company differences, coordinating with other entity accountants, clearing reconciling items, ensuring inter-company balances agree, and maintaining accurate inter-company accounting.

VAT Accounting and Compliance – You will manage VAT accounting, filing, and compliance as per UAE regulations by recording VAT on purchases and sales transactions, maintaining proper VAT documentation, preparing monthly or quarterly VAT returns, ensuring accurate VAT calculations, coordinating VAT submissions to Federal Tax Authority (FTA), managing VAT audits, staying updated on UAE VAT regulations, and ensuring full VAT compliance.
