Role Overview – Access Coating is seeking a qualified Senior Accountant with 8+ years of experience in oil & gas, construction, or industrial services for a position in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for experienced accounting professionals with strong financial reporting and compliance expertise who can manage complex accounting functions in industrial environments.

Financial Reporting – You will prepare comprehensive financial reports including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, variance analysis, and other reporting required by stakeholders and regulatory authorities. Your reporting provides visibility into financial performance, supports management decision-making, and ensures transparency in financial operations.

General Ledger Management – You will manage the general ledger including posting journal entries, maintaining chart of accounts, performing account reconciliations, closing monthly books, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records that form the foundation of all financial reporting.

Compliance and Regulatory Adherence – You will ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, tax regulations, audit requirements, and company policies. Your compliance expertise protects the organization from regulatory risks, ensures proper filings, and maintains the integrity of financial operations within legal frameworks.

Financial Analysis – You will perform financial analysis including budget variance analysis, cost analysis, profitability assessment, trend identification, and providing insights that support strategic planning and operational improvements within oil & gas, construction, or industrial services contexts.

Accounting Software Proficiency – Proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and MS Excel is important. You should be comfortable using technology to manage accounting operations, generate reports, and analyze financial data efficiently.

Analytical Skills – Strong analytical skills are crucial for interpreting financial data, identifying trends, investigating variances, providing insights, and supporting management with actionable financial intelligence.

Leadership Abilities – Leadership abilities including team supervision, mentoring junior staff, delegating effectively, and ensuring quality in team outputs are important for this senior-level accounting position.

Communication Skills – Strong communication skills are essential for presenting financial information to management, coordinating with auditors, explaining compliance requirements, and ensuring effective information flow across finance and operational functions.
