Role Overview The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records, regulatory compliance, and smooth daily operations of the finance team. This position is vital for maintaining integrity in all accounting processes within the Money Exchange and Remittance industry while adhering to UAE Central Bank regulations.

Financial Operations The candidate will be responsible for maintaining precise accounting records for FX, remittance, and branch operations. Daily monitoring of transactions and reconciliation of accounts will ensure all financial data is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Reporting and Compliance The Senior Accountant will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements compliant with IFRS. The role includes ensuring adherence to VAT regulations, UAE Central Bank rules, and supporting both internal and external audits to maintain operational transparency.

Banking and Reconciliations The role involves performing daily multi-currency bank and remittance reconciliations, handling Nostro and Vostro account settlements, and monitoring cash flow and liquidity across all branches. Accurate reconciliation is essential to ensure smooth fund transfers and operational efficiency.

MIS and Management Support The Senior Accountant will prepare detailed management reports, MIS dashboards, and analytical insights to assist management in decision-making. This involves analyzing trends, tracking performance, and presenting financial data in a clear and actionable format.

Team Leadership The candidate will train, guide, and mentor junior finance team members, sharing best practices and ensuring high standards in reporting, reconciliation, and financial documentation. Leadership in workflow and knowledge sharing will enhance overall team efficiency.
