About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex accounting operations with a focus on construction and project-based accounting, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining strong internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Oversee project cost accounting and maintain project-specific financial records

Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses

Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations

Coordinate with external auditors during audit processes

Supervise junior accounting staff and review their work

Implement and maintain internal financial controls

Prepare various management reports and financial analyses

Monitor cash flow and assist in treasury management

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role

Proven experience in construction or project-based accounting

Strong proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting systems

Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems

Valid driving license

Transferable visa status

Ability to join within one month
