Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Assistant Accountant & Cashier to handle our school's financial transactions and accounting operations. This role combines accounting responsibilities with cashier duties in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily cash transactions and maintain accurate records

Process student fee payments and issue receipts

Assist in preparing financial statements and reports

Reconcile bank statements

Handle petty cash management

Maintain organized financial records

Support accounts payable and receivable operations

Assist with month-end closing procedures

Coordinate with parents regarding fee-related queries

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in school accounting/cashier role (mandatory)

Strong knowledge of accounting principles

Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software

Excellent attention to detail

Strong communication skills

Ability to start immediately in Sharjah
