About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SAR Analyst to join our team in Dubai. This is a critical role for a professional with 3–5 years of banking experience in AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and transaction monitoring processes. If you have excellent SAR writing skills, a strong understanding of financial crime compliance, and the ability to work under tight deadlines, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

As the SAR Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and reporting suspicious activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Your primary duties will include reviewing transaction monitoring alerts, conducting investigations, and preparing high-quality Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs). You will also perform name screening, sanctions checks, and ensure adherence to AML and KYC (Know Your Customer) policies. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams to enhance financial crime compliance processes.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in AML, transaction monitoring, or financial crime compliance within the banking sector is required. Professional certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) are preferred. Excellent SAR writing skills are essential.

Skills and Competencies:

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve compliance issues. You should have excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with a focus on delivering clear and concise reports. Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to meet deadlines are key attributes we are looking for. Proficiency in MIS (Management Information Systems) and a sound understanding of AML, KYC, and sanctions screening will set you apart in this role.
