Role Overview LanceSoft Inc is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling solutions. The role involves translating business requirements into scalable SAP solutions, guiding functional and technical teams, supporting integration activities, and ensuring SAP FICO processes align with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of SAP Finance processes, solution architecture, integration, and end-to-end implementation environments.

SAP FICO Solution Architecture:

• Design scalable and effective SAP FICO solutions based on business and financial requirements.
• Define solution architecture, functional processes, and integration approaches.
• Evaluate existing SAP Finance processes and recommend improvements.
• Ensure solutions follow appropriate SAP architecture and implementation standards.

Financial Accounting:

• Support SAP FI processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting.
• Configure and oversee financial processes according to business requirements.
• Support financial reporting, period-end activities, and accounting process improvements.
• Ensure integration between financial processes and other SAP modules.

Controlling:

• Design and support SAP CO processes related to cost centers, profit centers, internal orders, and profitability analysis.
• Align controlling processes with business planning and management reporting requirements.
• Support accurate cost allocation and financial analysis processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve controlling workflows and reporting.

Business Requirements & Solution Design:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand financial and operational requirements.
• Translate business needs into practical SAP FICO solution designs.
• Prepare functional specifications and solution documentation.
• Assess requirements and recommend appropriate SAP functionality.

Integration & Technical Coordination:

• Coordinate SAP FICO integration with modules such as MM, SD, PP, and other business systems.
• Work closely with technical teams on interfaces, enhancements, reports, and integrations.
• Support integration testing and resolve functional issues.
• Ensure data flows accurately between SAP and connected systems.

Implementation & Transformation:

• Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and transformation projects.
• Support solution planning from design through deployment.
• Review configurations and ensure alignment with approved architecture.
• Assist with data migration, testing, cutover, and post-go-live activities.

Testing & Issue Resolution:

• Support functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Analyze SAP FICO issues and coordinate appropriate resolutions.
• Provide guidance to functional teams during defect resolution.
• Help ensure solutions meet business and financial requirements before deployment.

Stakeholder & Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with finance teams, business stakeholders, project managers, consultants, and technical teams.
• Provide architectural guidance and communicate complex SAP concepts clearly.
• Review proposed solutions and support decision-making throughout projects.
• Mentor and provide direction to SAP FICO team members when required
