Duties & Responsibilities

Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial crime regulations and standards.

Investigation: Conduct investigations and reviews related to sanctions and financial crimes.

Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on compliance activities and findings.

Advisory: Provide advice and support to other departments on compliance matters.

Training: Assist in the development and delivery of training programs related to sanctions and financial crime compliance.

Policy Implementation: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in a relevant field.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in the banking or financial services sector.

At least 2 years of experience specifically in financial crime compliance roles.

Certifications: Relevant compliance certification such as ACAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist), CGSS (Certified Global Sanctions Specialist), ICA (International Compliance Association) or equivalent.

Skills:

Strong understanding of financial crime compliance regulations and standards.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
