Job Description

Business Development and Lead Generation:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the logistics and freight forwarding sector. You will research potential clients, analyze market trends, and develop strategies to expand the company’s customer base. Strong initiative and a proactive approach are essential to consistently generate high-quality leads and achieve growth targets.

Client Relationship Management:

You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their logistics requirements and offering tailored solutions. This includes regular follow-ups, addressing client inquiries, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Your interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively will be key in establishing long-term partnerships.

Proposal Development and Contract Negotiation:

The role involves preparing detailed proposals, presenting solutions to clients, and negotiating contracts to close deals successfully. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals are realistic and meet client expectations. Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail are vital to securing profitable agreements and enhancing the company’s market reputation.

Collaboration with Operations Team:

You will work closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of services promised to clients. This includes coordinating shipments, monitoring delivery timelines, and resolving any operational issues that may arise. Effective collaboration ensures service excellence and strengthens client confidence in the company.

Market Knowledge and Industry Awareness:

You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain services in the UAE. Understanding competitors, market pricing, and industry trends will allow you to provide informed recommendations to clients and contribute to strategic planning. This role requires continuous learning and staying ahead of the market landscape.

Target Achievement and Performance Monitoring:

The Sales Representative will be accountable for meeting and exceeding sales targets.
