Sales Executive

Job Description

Role Overview – Salmon Farm is looking for a driven and results-oriented Horeca Sales Executive for a full-time, on-site position in Dubai, UAE. This role focuses on developing and managing sales within the HoReCa sector (Hotels, Restaurants & Catering), with a strong emphasis on seafood and salmon products.

HoReCa Client Development – You will identify and develop new HoReCa clients by prospecting hotels, restaurants, catering companies, and foodservice establishments, conducting sales calls, presenting product offerings, demonstrating salmon and seafood quality, and converting prospects into active customers.

Customer Relationship Management – You will maintain and grow relationships with existing customers by providing excellent service, conducting regular visits, understanding evolving needs, offering product recommendations, ensuring satisfaction, and expanding account value through strategic relationship building.

Product Promotion and Sales – You will promote and sell salmon and seafood products by presenting product features, explaining quality attributes, conducting tastings or demonstrations, highlighting value propositions, and positioning products effectively to meet HoReCa customer needs.

Pricing and Contract Negotiation – You will negotiate pricing and contracts with HoReCa clients, discussing terms, pricing structures, delivery schedules, payment conditions, and reaching agreements that satisfy customer requirements while protecting company margins and ensuring profitable business.

Sales Target Achievement – You will achieve assigned sales targets by consistently prospecting, effectively selling, closing deals, managing accounts strategically, and maximizing revenue from your HoReCa territory or client portfolio.

Market Intelligence – You will monitor market trends and competitor activity including tracking competitor products, pricing strategies, new market entrants, customer preferences, and industry developments. Market intelligence informs sales strategies and helps maintain competitive positioning.

CRM and Pipeline Management – You will use CRM tools to manage sales pipelines and client data, tracking leads, documenting interactions, forecasting sales, maintaining accurate records, and providing visibility into sales activities and performance.

Client Support and Service – You will provide ongoing support to HoReCa clients including addressing inquiries, resolving issues, coordinating deliveries, ensuring product quality, and maintaining service levels that build loyalty and encourage repeat business.

Sales Experience – Sales experience, preferably in the HoReCa sector, is required. Experience selling to hotels, restaurants, or catering establishments demonstrates understanding of HoReCa buying processes, decision-makers, and sales approaches specific to foodservice.

Seafood/Salmon Knowledge – Knowledge of seafood or salmon products is an advantage. Understanding product attributes, quality indicators, handling requirements, culinary applications, and the ability to discuss products credibly with chefs and purchasing managers strengthens your sales effectiveness.

Communication and Negotiation Skills – Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for engaging with HoReCa decision-makers, presenting products persuasively, negotiating terms effectively, and building trusted relationships with foodservice professionals.

Target-Driven and Self-Motivated – Being target-driven and self-motivated is crucial for success in field sales. You should be goal-oriented, proactive, persistent, resilient, and motivated to achieve ambitious sales targets through your own efforts.

Independent and Team Work – The ability to work independently and as part of a team is important. You should be self-directed in managing your territory while also collaborating effectively with colleagues, operations, and management.
