Sales Executive

Job Description

Role Overview – Al Mufid is hiring a Sales Executive for the Consumer Division covering Sharjah and Northern Emirates. This position is ideal for sales professionals with minimum 3 years of recent experience in retail or consumer FMCG sector, preferably in personal care products, who can drive sales, manage key accounts, build strong customer relationships, and achieve sales targets while improving product visibility and availability across the assigned market.

Sales Target Achievement – You will achieve and exceed sales targets by promoting and selling products to retail and modern trade clients including cooperatives, supermarkets, hypermarkets, and wholesalers. Your sales performance drives revenue growth, market share expansion, and business success in Sharjah and Northern Emirates territories.

Key Account Management – You will build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts ensuring excellent service and customer satisfaction. Preference will be given to candidates with background dealing with accounts such as Sharjah Coop, Ajman Coop, Nesto, Safeer, and wholesalers, as these relationships are valuable for immediate business impact.

Merchandising Collaboration – You will collaborate with merchandising teams to optimize product displays and visibility across all sales channels. Effective merchandising ensures products are prominently featured, attractively displayed, and easily accessible to consumers, driving sales and brand awareness.

Market Analysis – You will analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth. Your market intelligence informs sales strategies, helps anticipate market changes, and enables proactive responses to competitive dynamics and customer preferences.

Promotional Execution – You will execute and monitor promotional activities and campaigns to boost sales and enhance brand awareness. Your promotional execution includes implementing campaigns, tracking performance, gathering feedback, and ensuring promotional investments deliver expected sales results.

Order Processing and Supply Chain Coordination – You will accurately process orders and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and stock availability. Effective coordination prevents stock-outs, minimizes lost sales, maintains customer satisfaction, and ensures smooth order fulfillment.

Sales Reporting and Forecasting – You will regularly update and report sales performance, KPIs, and forecasts to inform strategic decisions. Your reporting provides management with visibility into sales activities, market conditions, and performance against targets, supporting data-driven planning.

New Business Development – You will identify new business opportunities by prospecting potential accounts, exploring untapped markets, introducing products to new channels, and expanding the customer base across Sharjah and Northern Emirates.

FMCG Sales Experience – Minimum 3 years of recent experience in sales within the retail or consumer FMCG sector is required, preferably in personal care products. Your FMCG experience provides understanding of fast-moving consumer goods distribution, retail dynamics, and sales strategies relevant to this market.

Key Account Experience Preference – Preference will be given to candidates with background dealing with accounts such as Sharjah Coop, Ajman Coop, Nesto, Safeer, and wholesalers. Existing relationships with these key accounts provide immediate value and accelerate your contribution to sales objectives.

Educational Background – Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred. Your educational foundation provides business acumen, marketing knowledge, and analytical capabilities that support professional sales performance.

Communication and Negotiation Skills – Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are essential for engaging with retail buyers, negotiating terms, building partnerships, and representing Al Mufid professionally in the market.

Results Orientation – Results-oriented, self-motivated mindset and ability to work independently are crucial for achieving targets in field sales. You should be driven by goals, proactive in pursuing opportunities, and capable of managing your territory autonomously.

Software Proficiency – Proficiency in MS Office is required. Experience with CRM tools is an advantage, supporting effective customer relationship management, sales tracking, and reporting.

Valid UAE Driver's License and Car – Valid UAE driver's license (DL) and ownership of a car are mandatory. Independent transportation is essential for covering the Sharjah and Northern Emirates territory, visiting retail accounts, and managing field sales responsibilities.

Travel Willingness – Willingness to travel within the assigned region is required. Field sales involves regular travel to customer locations, market visits, and territory coverage across Sharjah and Northern Emirates.
