About Role:

Southern Sun Abu Dhabi is a prestigious hotel offering world-class hospitality services in the heart of Abu Dhabi. We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to join our team and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and tour operators

Generate new business opportunities and achieve sales targets

Conduct sales calls and hotel site inspections for potential clients

Create and present competitive proposals for room blocks, events, and conferences

Negotiate contracts and rates with corporate accounts

Maintain accurate records in the hotel's sales management system

Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports

Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions

Collaborate with other departments to ensure client satisfaction

Monitor market trends and competitor activities

Participate in sales strategy development and implementation

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business, Marketing, or related field

Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry

Proven track record of achieving sales targets

Strong understanding of the Abu Dhabi/UAE hotel market

Excellent networking and relationship-building skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management systems

Fluent in English (written and verbal)

Valid UAE driving license

Desired Skills

Previous experience in luxury hotel sales

Knowledge of Opera or similar PMS systems

Arabic language skills (advantage)

Experience with corporate and MICE sales

Strong presentation and negotiation skills

Understanding of revenue management principles

Ability to work flexible hours including weekends when required

Strong organizational and time management skills
