Job Description / Role

As a Sales Executive at HR Orb, you will be responsible for driving business growth by developing and implementing sales strategies, securing new clients, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. You will be expected to understand customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure the highest level of service delivery to meet and exceed sales targets.

Business Development

Develop and improve sales strategies to enhance business development efforts.

Engage with customers to introduce the company, understand their business needs, and identify potential sales opportunities.

Proactively generate new sales to achieve assigned targets.

Analyze customer shipment patterns, cargo particulars, frequency, volumes, and trade lanes.

Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to secure more business based on customer potential and explore leads from other divisions.

Respond promptly to incoming queries and ensure timely resolution of service-related issues.

Calculate and submit competitive freight quotations/proposals with the assistance of the Sales Support team; follow up on quotes and secure bookings.

If business is lost, analyze and report the reasons.

Coordinate with clients during the bridging period before contract signing, ensuring a smooth transition to the operational phase.

Submit daily sales reports to the Sales Manager, detailing customer information, business scope, potential volumes, and shipment modes.

Attend weekly sales meetings to discuss lead progress, new business meetings, concluded business, and lost opportunities, while sharing market insights and trade analysis.

Represent the company at trade exhibitions, promoting its presence through distribution of promotional materials, brochures, and business cards.

Job Management

Plan and collaborate with interdepartmental teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Upon booking confirmation, complete necessary credit documentation and forward it to the Credit Department for approval through the Sales Manager.

Ensure a smooth workflow and effective handover of job files to the Sales Support team for customer service briefing.

Follow up on payments and support the credit control team in collecting dues and outstanding amounts from clients, escalating any issues to the Sales Manager and Finance for resolution.

Relationship Management

Maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers to achieve high customer satisfaction and retention, leading to increased sales revenue.

Work closely with Sales and Operation teams to ensure smooth execution of all tasks and contribute to quality improvement across assigned accounts.

Maintain a comprehensive database to track business progress, customer status, and competition.

Enter all new customer data and sales information into the company's CRM system, maintaining this information according to company policy.

Monitor and report on market and competitor activities, providing relevant insights to the team.

Keep customers informed about market trends, service updates, and other relevant information.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the freight forwarding industry, with proven experience in generating new business, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain management, and a track record of success in sales.

Salary

AED 9,000 to 12,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances).
