Overview of the Role:
The Sales Executive (Building Materials) - Outdoor at Danube Group is responsible for driving sales, building strong client relationships, and promoting the company’s building material products. This role requires a motivated and goal-oriented individual with experience in the building materials sector, capable of working independently to meet sales targets. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and providing comprehensive sales support to ensure client satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy Development:
Sales Target Achievement: Develop and implement effective sales strategies aimed at meeting or exceeding sales targets for building materials.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and assess customer needs in the building materials sector.
Product Promotion: Promote and sell building materials, including plywood, wood, timber, MDF, laminates, and other related products, to both new and existing clients.
2. Client Relationship Management:
Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new clients, building a strong customer base in the building materials industry.
Client Retention: Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring that they receive exceptional service and support.
Customer Support: Provide clients with product education, manage their requirements, and deliver post-sales support to ensure long-term satisfaction.
3. Sales Operations:
Sales Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports, detailing progress toward sales targets, client interactions, and market insights.
Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest products, industry trends, and competitor activities to effectively position Danube Group’s offerings in the market.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and other internal teams to align strategies, optimize outcomes, and ensure a seamless sales process.
4. Administrative Responsibilities:
Record Maintenance: Keep accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and other relevant data using CRM software.
Compliance: Adhere to company policies and industry regulations while conducting sales activities.
Driving License: Possess a valid driving license and be willing to travel to meet clients and close deals.
Desired Candidate Profile:
1. Educational Background:
Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
2. Professional Experience:
Experience Range: 2 - 8 years of experience in sales, particularly in the building materials sector.
Industry Expertise: Proven track record in selling building materials such as plywood, wood, timber, MDF, laminates, etc.
3. Technical Skills:
Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to prepare reports and analyze sales data.
CRM Software: Experience with CRM software to manage client relationships and sales activities effectively.
4. Personal Attributes:
Communication Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and close deals.
Self-Motivation: Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently without constant supervision.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify client needs, propose suitable products, and solve any issues that arise during the sales process.
5. Additional Requirements:
Driving License: A valid driving license is mandatory for this role, as it requires travel to meet clients.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with other teams within the company to ensure that sales strategies are aligned with overall business goals.
