Job Description
Direct Travel is looking for a driven and organised Sales Development Representative to join its Sales Enablement team on a fully remote basis. As one of the fastest-growing Travel Management Companies in the world with over 40 years of experience, offices in over 70 locations across North America and the UK, and a ranking on Travel Weekly's annual Power List, Direct Travel delivers highly customised corporate travel programs to clients through superior service, progressive technology, and significant cost savings. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional looking to grow within a fast-paced, dynamic environment and build a meaningful career in enterprise travel management.
In this role, you will drive new business by researching and identifying potential customers using tools including LinkedIn, company databases, and marketing platforms, and conducting outbound cold calls, LinkedIn messages, and emails to prospective clients. You will qualify leads using the SPICED sales methodology, engaging prospects to uncover their Situation, Pain, and the Impact Direct Travel's solutions could deliver for them, and book qualified meetings and demos for the sales team to pursue. Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all prospect and lead interactions in the CRM system, working closely with the sales and marketing teams to align outreach strategies, and diligently following up with inbound leads nurtured by the marketing team will all define your day-to-day contribution.
The ideal candidate brings two or more years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field, with familiarity in B2B prospecting and confidence in making outbound calls and engaging with senior decision-makers. Strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment, and familiarity with CRM tools and lead generation platforms including Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Salesloft are all expected. Previous experience in SaaS or technology sales, a degree in a business-related field, and strong organisational and time management skills are all preferred. A two-year diploma or equivalent experience is the minimum education requirement.
Direct Travel offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, alongside an employee rewards and recognition programme and a Total Rewards Package encompassing wellness, sustainability, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, and mental health support.
