Job Overview:

The Room Reservation Agent will be responsible for managing hotel room bookings, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring optimal room inventory utilization while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process room reservations through various channels (phone, email, online booking platforms)
• Manage Opera Property Management System for room bookings and guest information
• Handle customer inquiries regarding room availability, rates, and hotel amenities
• Coordinate with front office and other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences
• Update room rates and availability across all booking platforms
• Generate daily reports on room occupancy and revenue
• Assist with group bookings and corporate reservations
• Handle modifications and cancellations professionally
• Upsell room categories and additional services when possible
• Maintain accurate guest records and booking information

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Reservation Agent in a hotel setting (mandatory)
• Proven experience with Opera Property Management System (mandatory)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Additional languages are a plus
• Strong customer service orientation
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of UAE hospitality market
• Experience with online booking engines and GDS systems
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure during peak booking periods
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
