Job Role

My client is a leading construction company currently looking to recruit an experienced Rigging Engineer. The successful candidate will specialize in the preparation of lifting plans, method statements, and risk assessments. This role requires expertise in lifting gear and rigging equipment to perform lifting activities, supervising and monitoring the rigging team, and managing tower crane operations in coordination with the construction team.

Responsibilities

Prepare lifting plans, method statements, and risk assessments.

Utilize experience in lifting gear and rigging equipment for lifting activities.

Supervise and monitor the rigging team and tower crane operations on site.

Coordinate lifting activities with the construction team.

Manage heavy lifting of construction items such as the erection of heavy-size structural elements, beams, panels, and steel structure claddings.

Requirements

Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Proven experience working as a Rigging Engineer on major construction projects in the Middle East.

Ideally located in Saudi Arabia with a transferable iqama.

Extensive experience with heavy lifting construction items and rigging operations.

Strong coordination and supervisory skills.
