About the Client:

Our client is a well-regarded casual dining restaurant in Abu Dhabi, specializing in Asian cuisine. The restaurant is known for its vibrant atmosphere and high standards of food quality and service.

Role Overview:

The Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. This includes supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, managing inventory, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and hygiene. The role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can lead a team effectively and contribute to a positive dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Supervision:

Oversee and coordinate the work of restaurant staff, including food runners, waiters, and hosts/hostesses.

Provide training, support, and guidance to staff members to ensure they perform their duties effectively.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.

Manage staff schedules and address any staffing issues or conflicts that arise.

Customer Service:

Interact with guests to ensure a high level of satisfaction, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.

Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements based on customer suggestions and complaints.

Ensure that service standards are consistently met and that guests have a memorable dining experience.

Operational Management:

Oversee daily shift operations, including opening and closing duties.

In the absence of the Restaurant Manager, assign tasks and responsibilities to staff members, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Assist in managing restaurant inventory, including placing orders for supplies with the approval of the Restaurant Manager.

Monitor stock levels, ensure proper stock rotation, and manage inventory to avoid shortages or overstocking.

Quality and Hygiene Standards:

Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.

Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Implement and enforce hygiene practices and procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of food items.

Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and address potential hazards.

Maintain a secure environment for staff and customers, including adherence to emergency procedures and protocols.

Requirements:

Age: 48 years or below

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant setting, preferably with experience in Turkish or Asian cuisine.

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards.

Proficiency in using restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems.

Availability: Immediate joiners will be prioritized.
