Key Responsibilities:
As the Reservation Agent, you will be responsible for managing room reservations, ensuring accuracy, and providing outstanding service to guests. Your primary duties will include handling phone and online bookings, responding to guest inquiries, and coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. You will also maintain reservation records, process payments, and assist in resolving any booking-related issues.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Reservation Agent at an international chain hotel. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential. Proficiency in reservation software and MS Office is required. A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field will be an advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests. You should have strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a focus on delivering accurate and timely service.
