Relationship Officer

Job Description

Role Overview – A UNICORN HRD is hiring Relationship Officers for their digital banking department across Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Dubai branches. This indoor sales position offers a salary of up to AED 7,000 plus incentives and is open to Bachelor's degree holders with related experience or fresh graduates who are fluent in both English and Arabic.

Indoor Sales and Customer Acquisition – You will drive indoor sales by engaging with branch visitors, identifying customer needs, presenting retail banking products, converting walk-in customers into account holders, achieving sales targets, processing applications, cross-selling banking services, and maximizing sales opportunities within the branch environment through professional customer engagement.

Retail Banking Product Sales – You will sell all retail banking products including current and savings accounts, personal loans, auto loans, credit cards, debit cards, deposit products, insurance products, digital banking solutions, remittance services, and other banking offerings. You will achieve product-specific targets, recommend suitable products based on customer profiles, and drive revenue across the complete retail banking portfolio.

Digital Banking Promotion – You will actively promote digital banking services including mobile banking apps, internet banking, digital wallets, online account opening, digital payments, and self-service channels. You will educate customers on digital features, facilitate digital onboarding, demonstrate app functionalities, encourage digital adoption, and support the bank's digital transformation initiatives.

Customer Relationship Management – You will build and maintain strong customer relationships, understand customer financial needs and goals, provide personalized banking solutions, offer ongoing support and service, handle customer inquiries, resolve concerns professionally, maintain regular customer contact, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction that support retention and loyalty.

Account Opening and Onboarding – You will process account opening applications for new customers, collect required documentation, verify KYC information, ensure compliance with banking regulations, complete account setup, activate banking services, explain account features and terms, facilitate smooth onboarding, and create positive first impressions that establish lasting customer relationships.

Product Knowledge and Advisory – You will maintain comprehensive knowledge of all retail banking products, features, benefits, eligibility criteria, pricing, and terms. You will stay updated on product launches and promotions, provide expert advice to customers, explain product comparisons, recommend suitable banking solutions, and position the bank's offerings competitively.

Cross-Selling and Upselling – You will identify cross-selling opportunities with existing customers, introduce additional banking products, maximize customer wallet share, bundle products effectively, upgrade accounts and services, enhance customer value, increase per-customer revenue, and achieve cross-sell targets through consultative selling approaches.

Sales Target Achievement – You will meet and exceed monthly sales targets across accounts, loans, credit cards, and other products. You will track personal performance metrics, implement sales strategies, maximize conversion rates, manage sales pipeline, participate in sales campaigns and competitions, and demonstrate consistent achievement of individual and team targets.
