Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Recruiter to support the dynamic hiring needs of the hospitality and leisure industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring the best talent for a variety of hospitality roles including hotel operations, food and beverage, and guest services. This role requires an individual with strong interpersonal skills, recruitment knowledge, and the ability to operate efficiently in a high-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: The recruiter will manage the full-cycle recruitment process from job posting to onboarding. This includes sourcing candidates via online platforms, networking, and attending events; conducting initial screenings and interviews; and coordinating with hiring managers to make well-informed hiring decisions. The role will also involve crafting job descriptions, posting vacancies on relevant job boards, and maintaining candidate databases.
Talent Sourcing & Screening: You will be expected to proactively source candidates through multiple channels such as LinkedIn, Indeed, hospitality job fairs, and social media platforms. Screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and evaluating technical and soft skills will be part of your daily responsibilities. Understanding the unique requirements of hospitality roles is essential to finding candidates who are the right fit both culturally and professionally.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: This role will involve consistent collaboration with department heads and hiring managers to identify current and future staffing needs. Strong communication skills are necessary to keep stakeholders informed about candidate pipelines, interview feedback, and overall recruitment progress. The recruiter must serve as a strategic partner to the business by offering market insights and creative hiring strategies.
Employer Branding & Talent Pipeline: In addition to filling current vacancies, you will also focus on long-term talent acquisition strategies. Promoting a strong employer brand and building a pipeline of pre-screened candidates for future openings is a key function. You’ll play a role in enhancing candidate experience and promoting the organization as an employer of choice in the hospitality sector.
Data Management & Compliance: The recruiter will maintain detailed records of all recruitment activities, including candidate evaluations, hiring status updates, and sourcing methods. Adherence to local labor laws and organizational hiring policies is critical. You’ll ensure proper documentation, data privacy compliance, and reporting accuracy throughout the recruitment cycle.
