Receptionist

Job Description

Position Overview: As a Receptionist at THE BRIDGE | Wellness Hub, you will be the first point of contact for all members, visitors, and clients. Your role will revolve around creating a welcoming environment that reflects our core values of wellness, professionalism, and community care. You will ensure that every individual walking into our facility feels valued and respected, while also providing them with accurate information about our services.

Customer Service Excellence: This position requires a strong customer-first approach, where you will greet members warmly, handle their inquiries, and ensure their check-in and check-out process runs smoothly. The receptionist will also play an important role in addressing general questions about membership, scheduling appointments, and guiding guests to the right areas of the wellness hub. Delivering excellent customer service is at the core of your role.

Administrative Responsibilities: As part of your duties, you will manage phone calls, respond to emails, maintain appointment schedules, and accurately record member information. In addition, you will oversee the collection of membership payments, update databases, and support the management team by handling front desk paperwork. These administrative tasks will be essential for the smooth daily operations of the wellness hub.

Handling Challenges: Occasionally, you may face situations where customers raise concerns or complaints regarding facilities, equipment, or memberships. Your role will involve listening carefully, providing clear solutions, and escalating issues to the relevant department if required. By managing such concerns effectively, you will directly contribute to member satisfaction and long-term loyalty.

Promoting Services: Another key aspect of your job will be introducing and promoting our diverse range of wellness services, including personal training, wellness workshops, and group classes. Your ability to communicate these opportunities persuasively will help members discover more value in their membership and encourage stronger engagement with the hub.

Team Collaboration: You will work closely with trainers, managers, and other team members to ensure seamless communication and alignment of services. This collaborative environment will allow you to share feedback about member experiences and contribute ideas for improving service delivery and operational efficiency.
