Position Overview

The Dental Studio is currently seeking a highly organized and personable Receptionist to join our clinic in Ras Al Khaimah. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in front desk operations, particularly in the healthcare or dental field, to become part of a patient-focused and professional team. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment while ensuring efficient and smooth clinic operations.

Role Responsibilities

As the Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. Your responsibilities will include managing appointments, greeting patients, handling phone inquiries, and ensuring that patient records are accurately maintained. You will also be responsible for processing payments, managing insurance forms when applicable, and coordinating with clinical staff to facilitate seamless patient care.

Patient Interaction and Communication

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential in this role. You will be interacting with patients daily—both in person and over the phone—ensuring that each experience is pleasant and professional. Whether confirming appointments or assisting with rescheduling, your ability to listen, empathize, and respond effectively will enhance patient satisfaction and trust in our services.

Administrative and Technical Duties

This role requires comfort and proficiency with office software tools, such as Microsoft Office, and ideally, experience with dental or medical practice management systems. You'll need to maintain electronic records, update patient details, and coordinate with insurance providers when needed. Accuracy and attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining the clinic’s administrative efficiency.

Time Management and Multitasking

Working in a busy clinic environment means you'll be expected to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. This includes managing walk-in patients, preparing rooms for consultations, managing correspondence, and ensuring the reception area is always clean and organized. Your ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced setting will be a key contributor to the clinic's operational success.

Professionalism and Confidentiality

As the face of the clinic, you are expected to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. In addition, strict adherence to patient confidentiality and privacy protocols is non-negotiable. Handling sensitive patient information with discretion and integrity is essential to uphold the ethical standards of the healthcare industry.

Work Schedule and Environment

This full-time position is based in our Ras Al Khaimah clinic and includes one day off per week. You’ll be working in a collaborative and patient-centered environment where team support and clear communication are valued. Your contribution as the front-office coordinator is critical in creating a smooth and positive patient experience from entry to exit.
