Job Description
Role Overview: The Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. The role requires strong technical knowledge, patient care skills, and adherence to established safety standards.
Core Responsibilities: The selected candidate will operate imaging equipment including X-ray, CT, and MRI machines, ensuring optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure. They will also manage patient positioning, explain procedures clearly, and maintain accurate patient records.
Technical Expertise: Candidates should have experience in diagnostic imaging techniques, radiographic positioning, and radiation safety protocols. Knowledge of Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and Radiology Information Systems (RIS) will be an added advantage.
Patient-Centered Approach: The Radiology Technologist will demonstrate compassion and professionalism when dealing with patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the imaging process. Maintaining patient confidentiality and safety is a top priority.
Compliance and Quality Assurance: The role requires strict compliance with UAE health and safety regulations, hospital protocols, and quality control measures. The technologist will regularly inspect and calibrate radiology equipment to ensure consistent performance.
Team Collaboration: The candidate will work closely with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to support accurate diagnostic decisions. Effective communication and teamwork are essential for smooth departmental operations.
