Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with specific expertise in civil works within the Oil & Gas construction sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, quantity takeoffs, and financial management of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Execute quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed project estimates from technical drawings
Prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for various project components
Manage subcontractor billing processes and material reconciliation
Identify and process extra claims, conducting rate analysis based on current market conditions
Perform cost reconciliation at various project stages and upon completion
Handle client and contractor correspondence and relationships
Conduct regular site visits for data collection and measurements
Generate and process monthly invoices
Monitor and control project costs against budgets
Maintain accurate project documentation and records
Required Qualifications
BE/B-Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas Construction
Proven experience in Plant and Cross-Country Pipelines / Flowlines / Gathering Station projects
Strong proficiency in MS Office suite
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
Valid driving license and ability to travel to project sites
Technical Skills
Expertise in quantity takeoff methods and procedures
Proficient in construction cost estimation
Strong knowledge of construction contracts and documentation
Understanding of international construction standards and practices
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Experience with construction management software

Detail-oriented with high accuracy in calculations
