Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects.

Ensure that the financial position of projects is accurately reported and controlled effectively.

Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and work timetables.

Interpret and explain contracts and technical information to other professionals.

Report on progress and any necessary modifications of plans that seem indicated.

Review, negotiate, and approve contract terms and conditions.

Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors and, where appropriate, negotiate with the contractors.

Provide advice on contractual claims.

Value completed work and arrange payments.

Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use.

Understand the implications of health and safety regulations.

Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction and project management.

Proficient in construction software and MS Office applications.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
