Duties & Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance:

Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Oversee and monitor the quality assurance processes within the hospital.

Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Accreditation and Compliance:

Manage and coordinate the hospital's accreditation processes, including JCI (Joint Commission International) and ACHS (Australian Council on Healthcare Standards) accreditations.

Ensure full compliance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) policies and protocols.

Stay updated with the latest healthcare regulations and accreditation requirements.

Policy Development:

Develop and update hospital policies and procedures related to quality assurance and patient safety.

Ensure that all policies are in line with regulatory standards and best practices.

Communicate policies effectively to all hospital staff and ensure their proper implementation.

Training and Education:

Provide training and education to hospital staff on quality assurance, patient safety, and compliance.

Develop training programs and materials to enhance staff knowledge and adherence to quality standards.

Performance Monitoring:

Monitor and analyze hospital performance data to identify areas for improvement.

Implement corrective actions and improvement plans to enhance the quality of care and patient safety.

Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management.

Patient Safety:

Lead initiatives to improve patient safety and reduce incidents of harm.

Investigate and analyze patient safety incidents, and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.

Team Leadership:

Lead and manage the quality assurance team, providing guidance and support.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence within the hospital.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with medical staff, department heads, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality objectives.

Engage with patients and their families to gather feedback and improve the quality of care.

Requirements:

Experience:

7 - 10 years of experience in quality assurance/control within the healthcare sector.

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in any field of medicine or hospital administration.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of JCI and ACHS accreditation processes.

Full understanding of DHA policies and protocols.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.

High level of integrity and professionalism.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Location:

Must have a background in UAE healthcare operations.
