We are seeking a proactive and experienced Quality Manager to uphold and enhance our product quality standards.

Job Summary:

The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the quality management systems and procedures within our manufacturing operations. This role involves ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards, managing the quality assurance team, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure that our products consistently meet and exceed industry expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Management Systems:

Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and procedures to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

Oversee the development and execution of testing protocols and procedures for raw materials, in-process, and finished products.

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and manage the quality assurance team, ensuring effective performance and professional development.

Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to identify and address quality issues and deviations.

Continuous Improvement:

Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain departments to resolve quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement; implement corrective and preventive actions as needed.

Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all quality assurance activities, including compliance with internal and external audits.

Stay current with industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and alignment with industry advancements.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, HACCP, SQF) are advantageous.

Experience:

Proven experience (5+ years) in quality management within a food manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and food safety regulations.

Skills:

Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

Proficiency in quality management software and systems, as well as data analysis tools.

Knowledge of global food safety standards such as BRC and ISO.
