Position:

Following the recent award of a large project, Ashbrittle Recruitment's client is entering an exciting phase of expansion. To maintain their enviable reputation and ensure the efficient delivery of this project, they are seeking a dedicated QA/QC Inspector to oversee the construction of a large building project in Bahrain.

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure that the construction work complies with all project specifications, standards, and regulations.

Develop and implement QA/QC procedures and ensure adherence throughout the project lifecycle.

Prepare detailed inspection reports and document non-conformances, proposing corrective actions to address any issues.

Coordinate with project management, engineering teams, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues.

Monitor and review the quality of materials delivered to the site, ensuring they meet project requirements.

Assist in the preparation and review of method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and other QA/QC documentation.

Participate in internal and external audits, providing evidence and documentation as required.

Ensure that all QA/QC documentation is properly maintained and updated in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Train and mentor site staff on quality standards and best practices.

Salary:

BHD 800 to 900 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years' experience in QA/QC roles within civil engineering and building works.

Proven track record of overseeing quality assurance and control on large-scale construction projects.

Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Previous experience working in Bahrain or the Middle East is highly desirable.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
