About the Role

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer with a strong background in landscaping projects to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate will ensure quality standards are met throughout project execution while coordinating with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee execution teams and subcontractors to ensure project alignment and quality standards

Conduct thorough inspections of received materials and maintain detailed QA/QC documentation

Develop and implement quality assurance standards and testing procedures

Monitor and verify compliance with quality manuals, specifications, and industry standards

Prepare method statements for construction activities

Liaise with engineers and relevant stakeholders for inspections and approvals

Maintain comprehensive quality control records and documentation

Identify and report potential quality issues, recommending corrective actions

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets specified standards

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

Proven experience in QA/QC role within landscaping or similar construction projects

Strong knowledge of construction quality control procedures and standards

Excellent documentation and reporting skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Preferred Qualifications

UPDA (Urban Planning and Development Authority) certification

Previous experience working in Qatar or GCC countries

Knowledge of local construction standards and regulations

Experience with quality management systems

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in outdoor conditions

Capable of walking and standing for extended periods

Ability to climb stairs and ladders for site inspections
