Duties & Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Tester with extensive experience in retail banking to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure the highest quality of our banking software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Testing Execution:

Conduct manual and automated testing on banking software applications to ensure functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility with other systems.

Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate the end-to-end business processes and functionalities.

Test Planning and Documentation:

Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications.

Document and track defects and issues identified during testing and collaborate with development teams to resolve them.

Quality Assurance:

Implement and adhere to software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionalities are not affected by new changes or enhancements.

Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability and potential issues.

Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of testing activities.

Reporting:

Prepare detailed reports on testing activities, including test progress, defect status, and overall quality metrics, to inform management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA testing within the banking industry, with a focus on retail banking applications.

Technical Skills:

Strong expertise in manual testing and automation testing tools (such as Selenium, QTP, or similar).

Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT).

Analytical Skills:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.

Communication and Collaboration:

Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.

Agile Experience:

Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
