Position Overview: As a Purchaser at Bosco Group, you will be an integral part of our aluminium production and fabrication team. We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategically minded individual with a background in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA to handle procurement operations. This role requires an experienced professional who understands market trends and can ensure optimal material sourcing aligned with project requirements and production timelines.

Key Responsibilities: The Purchaser will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process including vendor selection, price negotiation, purchase order issuance, and delivery coordination. The role demands close coordination with internal departments such as engineering, production, and logistics to meet operational deadlines. The candidate should be capable of identifying cost-saving opportunities while ensuring the quality and timely availability of all required materials.

Technical Procurement Duties: You will handle the procurement of machinery, raw materials, mechanical tools, and critical components used in the aluminium fabrication process. You must have prior experience in technical procurement and be able to interpret engineering drawings and material specifications. A strong understanding of mechanical systems and industrial production processes is essential for success in this role.

Collaboration & Vendor Management: Building strong relationships with vendors and suppliers will be key. The ideal candidate will have a well-established network of vendors and will work continuously to expand and improve it. You will evaluate vendor performance regularly to ensure quality standards and negotiate long-term agreements to reduce procurement lead time and costs.

Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization: You will take an active role in analyzing current procurement strategies and suggest improvements that align with the company’s objectives. Your responsibility includes sourcing alternate materials or suppliers during shortages and working to minimize overhead through bulk purchase planning, long-term contracts, and continuous process improvements.

Compliance & Documentation: You will ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and quality standards. Maintaining proper documentation for audits and regulatory inspections is part of your daily tasks. You should be well-versed in ERP systems and procurement software for inventory management, procurement tracking, and financial control.
