Educational Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E/B.Tech)

Experience

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in purchasing/procurement

Strong background in mechanical engineering principles

Demonstrated expertise in vendor management and procurement strategies

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement purchasing strategies

Evaluate and select suppliers

Negotiate contracts and pricing

Manage procurement documentation

Conduct vendor performance assessments

Ensure cost-effectiveness and quality in purchasing processes

Collaborate with internal departments to meet organizational procurement needs

Required Skills

Mechanical engineering knowledge
