Al Khaleej Palace Deira Hotel is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Purchase Assistant and Inventory Controller to join our team in Dubai. This is an urgent requirement for a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of inventory control and costing principles.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the procurement process by preparing purchase orders, obtaining quotations, and liaising with suppliers.

Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and purchase transactions.

Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.

Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.

Analyze inventory data to identify trends and optimize stocking levels.

Coordinate with various departments to forecast demand and plan purchases accordingly.

Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to enhance efficiency and minimize losses.

Collaborate with the finance department to reconcile inventory accounts and ensure accurate costing.

Requirements:

Good knowledge of inventory control principles and practices.

Familiarity with costing methods and techniques.

Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management software.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
