About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchase Assistant to join our team in Dubai. This position offers an excellent opportunity for freshers and professionals looking to build a career in procurement. The ideal candidate will assist in managing purchasing activities, vendor relationships, and inventory coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Collect and process purchase requests from the store department

Create and maintain purchase orders in the system

Research and identify potential vendors for various products and services

Analyze vendor quotations and assist in price negotiations

Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery of materials

Maintain accurate records of all purchasing transactions

Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for smooth procurement operations

Follow up on delayed orders and resolve basic procurement issues

Assist in maintaining vendor database and documentation

Support the procurement team in daily administrative tasks

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field

Strong organizational and time management skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

Excellent attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Basic understanding of procurement processes

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of procurement software systems

Basic understanding of inventory management

Experience with data entry and record keeping

Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
