Position Overview

The Public Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, cost accounting, and ensuring accurate reporting while maintaining compliance with local regulations and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting operations and financial transactions

Prepare and maintain general ledger, trial balance, and financial statements

Handle cost accounting for construction projects

Process and reconcile daily accounting entries

Manage accounts payable and receivable

Prepare and file tax returns and ensure tax compliance

Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports

Assist in budget preparation and forecasting

Maintain detailed financial records and documentation

Support month-end and year-end closing processes

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Minimum 2 years of experience in cost accounting

Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and standards

Experience with daily journal entries, general ledger, and trial balance

Proficiency in tax regulations and compliance

Advanced Excel skills with expertise in formulas and financial modeling

Experience with ERP systems (preferred)

Knowledge of Saudi accounting standards and regulations

Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)

Experience with accounting software and ERP systems

Understanding of automated accounting systems

Knowledge of financial reporting tools

Familiarity with accounting databases
