Job Overview:

KEO International Consultants, a leading creative enterprise renowned for its innovative approach to planning, design, and project delivery in both built and natural environments, is seeking a skilled Proposal Engineer (Sustainability) to join its award-winning team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing administrative and operational support to the Sustainability Director, focusing on business development and pre-sales activities. This position is vital for driving the growth of the sustainability business unit and enhancing KEO's market position across international geographic areas.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Business Development Support:

Collaborate with business leads and the Sustainability Director to identify and capitalize on new opportunities in sustainability, energy, and decarbonization in green- and brownfield projects.

Conduct thorough research to identify and qualify target clients and potential partners, understanding their needs, pain points, and business challenges.

Facilitate communication, arrange meetings, and gather feedback from lead- and marketing meetings to align service offerings with client requirements.

Market Engagement:

Attend and participate in relevant events and conferences to promote KEO Sustainability services, gain market insights, and establish introductions.

Plan and execute events and campaigns driven by KEO Sustainability to enhance market presence.

Stakeholder Management:

Establish and maintain robust working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to boost satisfaction and loyalty.

Manage and update the CRM tool, ensuring data accuracy, opportunity mobilization, and effective lead progress tracking.

Proposal Writing & Marketing Materials:

Develop and oversee the creation of customized, professional-quality marketing materials, including written proposals, RFP responses, go-to-market plans, brochures, messaging, and graphical presentations.

Provide support in the preparation of pre-qualifications and tender submissions, conducting follow-ups on select submissions to optimize the win rate.

Industry Trends & Reporting:

Stay updated on industry trends, market research, and dynamics, communicating these insights to the team.

Provide regular reporting on business development management, progress, and key account risks and opportunities.

Technical Support:

Perform other technical duties and provide the needed support in the field of sustainability, energy, and decarbonization as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field such as Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Architecture, or Civil Engineering.

Experience:

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record in Sustainability portfolio development in the Middle East market.

Experience in client relationship management and proposal writing.

Skills & Competencies:

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of sustainability, energy, and decarbonization best practices.

Additional Requirements:

A proactive approach to business development and market engagement.

Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
