Job Overview: The Project QA/QC Manager – Civil will be responsible for overseeing and implementing quality assurance and control systems across all phases of high-rise construction projects in Dubai. This position requires an accomplished professional with extensive experience in civil engineering quality management, ensuring all materials, workmanship, and project processes meet the highest international and UAE standards. The candidate should demonstrate leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within complex construction environments.

Core Responsibilities: The successful candidate will develop, monitor, and maintain the project’s Quality Management Plan in compliance with contractual, regulatory, and client requirements. Responsibilities include supervising inspection and testing activities, coordinating with consultants and contractors, managing documentation, and ensuring that all QA/QC procedures are strictly adhered to on-site. The QA/QC Manager will also ensure that corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented to maintain high project standards.

Project Coordination: The QA/QC Manager will work closely with the project management team, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that construction activities align with approved specifications, drawings, and safety standards. This includes conducting site inspections, verifying materials, managing quality documentation, and ensuring all non-conformance issues are promptly addressed. Effective communication and coordination with stakeholders will be key to ensuring timely project delivery and quality outcomes.

Quality Systems Implementation: The candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining ISO-compliant quality systems and procedures within the company. They must ensure that inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, and material submittals are reviewed and approved in line with project requirements. The QA/QC Manager will also support internal audits, training sessions, and quality workshops to ensure continuous improvement across all project phases.

Technical Expertise: The ideal candidate must possess deep knowledge of UAE construction standards, Dubai Municipality regulations, and international codes such as ACI, ASTM, and BS standards. Experience with concrete structures, finishing works, and high-rise building systems is essential. A strong technical foundation will enable the manager to evaluate quality data effectively, identify risks, and implement robust control measures to maintain project excellence.

Leadership and Team Management: This role demands a dynamic leader who can guide QA/QC engineers and inspectors to perform at their best. The QA/QC Manager will mentor junior staff, monitor performance, and foster a culture of accountability and precision.
