Finesse Direct is looking for an experienced and strategic Project Manager with a strong background in digital banking and financial services IT to join their growing remote team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned IT project management professional who is ready to lead complex and high impact banking technology projects across a dynamic and fast paced environment.

In this role you will be responsible for leading the full planning, execution, and delivery of banking and financial IT projects, defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics, and coordinating cross functional teams including software developers, testers, infrastructure specialists, and business analysts. You will manage integrations with core banking systems, payment gateways, IAM platforms, and other banking solutions, work closely with third party vendors to ensure SLAs and compliance obligations are met, and proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks and dependencies. Ensuring robust project documentation, reporting, and governance frameworks are in place and adhering to banking regulations, data security standards, and IT governance requirements including PCI DSS will be central to your responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will bring 7 to 12 years of experience in IT project management with a minimum of 3 years specifically within the banking or financial services domain, working on Java frontend and backend technology. Proven experience delivering projects such as core banking integrations, payment systems, loan origination, CRM, digital banking portals, pricing, and loyalty programs is essential. A strong understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches, familiarity with ITIL practices, cloud infrastructure, and security and compliance frameworks, and proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA and MS Project are key requirements for this role. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills are non-negotiable.
