Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join an architecture and engineering consultancy in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will have a strong background in architecture, demonstrating exceptional project management skills and a passion for delivering innovative design solutions. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards. The projects will be varied from large masterplan developments, hospitality or residential buildings.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring alignment with client goals and expectations.

- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of project status and any changes.

- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure effective collaboration and communication throughout the project.

- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, addressing any issues that arise promptly.

- Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.

- Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and updates to clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating project status and potential risks.

- Manage client relationships, ensuring their needs are understood and met, while also identifying opportunities for additional services.

- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.

- Utilize project management software and tools to track progress, manage resources, and report on key performance indicators.

- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks and ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the architecture and engineering consultancy industry.

- Proven track record of successfully building design projects from concept to completion.

- Previous experience in the Middle East (preferred)

- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, and project management best practices.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.

- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary:

AED 30,000 to 40,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
