Position Overview
As Project Manager, you'll play a vital role in delivering our diverse range of creative projects and events. This position requires someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and can balance creative thinking with meticulous organization.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple projects simultaneously
Develop and maintain project timelines, task lists, and resource allocations
Conduct risk assessments and ensure health and safety compliance
Manage licensing and logistical requirements for events and initiatives
Monitor project progress and adapt plans as needed to ensure successful delivery
Creative Input
Contribute innovative ideas to project development and implementation
Collaborate with the Eden Arts team to refine creative concepts
Help translate artistic vision into practical delivery plans
Support artists and creatives involved in our projects
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain relationships with project partners, funders, and community members
Collect data and prepare evaluation materials for projects
Support reporting to Arts Council England and other funders
Represent the organization professionally at events and meetings
Marketing & Communications
Oversee project promotion through social media and traditional channels
Coordinate with marketing team on campaign development and implementation
Ensure consistent messaging across all project communications
Help capture and share project impacts and stories
Financial Management
Work closely with the Finance Manager to develop and monitor project budgets
Track expenditures and maintain accurate financial records
Provide regular budget updates to the Director and Finance Manager
Identify potential budget issues and propose solutions
Qualifications & Experience
Educated to A-Level or equivalent
Experience in project management, preferably in arts, culture, or community settings
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and digital collaboration tools
Understanding of project planning methodologies and best practices
Knowledge of arts funding landscapes (desirable)
Experience working with diverse communities (desirable)
