Job Description

Tech Mahindra is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to join their team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management with extensive experience in software development and Agile methodologies. This role is best suited for professionals with a notice period of 30 days or less, ready to contribute to high-impact projects immediately.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Project Management: Lead and manage complex IT projects with a focus on .Net, Java, and Agile methodologies. Ensure timely delivery, within budget, and aligned with client expectations.

Technical Leadership: Provide guidance on technologies such as .Net Core, ADO, API Gateway, Angular, JAVA, Kubernetes, and Microservices.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to drive project success.

Scrum Methodology: Implement and manage Scrum processes, ensuring efficient sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives.

Client Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members, addressing concerns and ensuring project alignment with business objectives.

Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage project risks, ensuring that mitigation strategies are in place.

Documentation: Prepare detailed project documentation, including technical designs, progress reports, and post-project evaluations.

Must-Have Skills:

Proficiency in .Net, .Net Core, .Net Framework, ADO, API Gateway, ASP.Net, Angular, JAVA, Kubernetes, Microservices, REST API, React JS, and Web API.

Extensive experience with Scrum and Agile project management practices.

Strong expertise in software design, including Domain Driven Design, SOA, and design patterns like Micro Services and MVVM.

Hands-on experience with technologies such as Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, and Git.

Solid experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases.

Minimum of 15 years of job-related experience, including at least 3 years as an Engineering Manager and 6 years of experience with Java, Microservices, and related technologies.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.

Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years as an Engineering Manager and extensive hands-on experience in software development.

Certification: Agile certification is highly preferred.

Technical Skills: Expertise in programming languages, data modeling, interface design, and non-functional requirements analysis.

Leadership: Proven experience leading technical teams and managing complex IT projects using Agile methodologies.
