Every interior fit-out project is a puzzle of moving parts—subcontractors, materials, drawings, budgets, and deadlines. The difference between a project that finishes smoothly and one that becomes a constant firefight often comes down to one person: the Project Engineer who keeps every piece in its place. DesignFlo Interior Decoration LLC is looking for a Project Engineer who thrives in that space.

This is a role for someone who has spent at least five years on UAE fit-out sites and knows what it takes to coordinate subcontractors, sequence trades, and keep a project on track from kick-off to handover. You will own assigned projects, working to the baseline programme set by the Project Manager. You will coordinate with subcontractors, vendor installation teams, and site supervisors daily, ensuring that every trade works in sync. You will prepare the weekly progress report and two-week look-ahead, present at site reviews, and make sure every variation is recorded, priced, and signed off before execution. You will track costs against budget, flag overruns early, and support detailed design coordination. When snags appear, you will run closure and assemble the handover pack. You will also attend client meetings and, once signed off, lead them on smaller projects. This is not a desk job—it is a role for someone who is comfortable on site, managing multiple priorities, and holding subcontractors accountable.

The ideal candidate holds a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management, with five to six years of UAE experience on interior fit-out sites as a Site Engineer, Project Engineer, or Assistant Project Manager. You have run at least three jobs under a senior Project Manager and can build and update a programme in MS Project or Excel. You read architectural, joinery, and MEP drawings with confidence. You are organised, write clearly, and are comfortable holding subcontractors to their dates. A UAE driving licence is mandatory. You have ambition to grow into a full Project Manager role.

Up to AED 9,000 per month
