Job Description

Overseeing EPC Project Operations: The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing all aspects of engineering and construction activities for ADNOC Offshore projects. This role requires hands-on experience in EPC project execution, coordination, and technical supervision to ensure all phases of the project are delivered efficiently, on time, and in compliance with ADNOC’s safety and quality standards.

Technical Coordination and Planning: The selected candidate will collaborate closely with design, procurement, and site execution teams to ensure seamless project coordination. They will review technical drawings, monitor progress, manage contractor performance, and ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables while maintaining alignment with the overall project schedule.

Ensuring Compliance and Safety Standards: The Project Engineer will be responsible for ensuring adherence to ADNOC’s project safety, environmental, and quality requirements. This includes familiarity with PTW (Permit to Work) and e-WMS systems, as well as the ability to oversee safe work practices during offshore and onshore construction activities.

Construction and Site Supervision: The role requires active supervision of site work, verifying that construction complies with approved drawings, specifications, and standards. The candidate must coordinate with multiple teams, including subcontractors and QA/QC departments, to resolve technical issues and ensure continuous progress in construction operations.

Communication and Stakeholder Coordination: Effective communication is key to success in this position. The Project Engineer will serve as a bridge between the client, project management, and site teams—ensuring clear reporting, efficient issue resolution, and consistent alignment with ADNOC’s operational goals. Strong documentation and presentation skills are essential for maintaining transparent and efficient workflows.

Problem Solving and Process Optimization: The ideal candidate will bring innovative engineering solutions and a proactive approach to identify potential challenges before they affect project timelines. They will recommend design improvements, streamline processes, and ensure optimal resource utilization for achieving operational excellence and cost efficiency.
