Job description:

Al Waha Contracting & Trading W.L.L, a leading construction company in Qatar, is seeking a talented and experienced Project Engineer to join our team. Requirements:

Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in engineering and project management.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering is required.

Experience working with Ashghal projects is preferred.

Familiarity with the PWA (Public Works Authority) system.

Candidates must currently reside in Qatar with a valid QID (Qatar ID).

Strong technical skills and proficiency in project management software.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Knowledge of construction industry regulations, codes, and standards.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.

Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in accordance with client expectations and company standards.

Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure project specifications and drawings are accurate and complete.

Monitor project progress, budget, and resources, identifying and addressing any issues or delays promptly.

Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality controls, and project timelines.

Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to assess project status, resolve issues, and provide guidance to project teams.

Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to maintain positive relationships and address concerns.

Prepare and review project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and change orders.

Manage project changes, risks, and opportunities, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
