Job Description

Position Title: Project Engineer (Cluster)

Employment Type: Full Time

Experience: 10 - 15 Years

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

Roles & Responsibilities

Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk assessments.

Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to project team members.

Coordination: Coordinate with design, manufacturing, construction, and maintenance teams to ensure project goals are met.

Quality Assurance: Ensure projects adhere to quality standards and regulations.

Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and change orders.

Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors.

Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues and problems during the project.

Project Monitoring: Oversee project functions such as Project Management, Site Management, Project Control Management, Engineering Management, Procurement, and Construction Management to ensure coordination and proper staffing.

Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely reporting standards are maintained throughout the project(s).

Regional Coordination: Coordinate and communicate with project groups on major projects in the region and with regional and site management on status, trends, and changes of approved projects.

Progress Monitoring: Monitor engineering progress against budget and forecasted schedule.

Budget Preparation: Prepare engineering budgets, project schedules, and project control budgets.

Communication: Maintain ongoing communications with construction and contractor management teams, and coordinate engineering activities with other departments.

Technical Assistance: Provide technical assistance during construction progress and offer technical advice and support to other departments.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with Hill International’s Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures.

Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited University.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or city development projects.

Government Programs: Experience with major government and/or semi-government programs and project implementations.

Water/Wastewater Projects: Extensive experience in the project management of water and wastewater works.

Project Management: Knowledge of professional project management processes and procedures.

Safety Philosophy: Experience in implementing a zero-accident philosophy.

Government Engagement: A record of engagement with government entities/utility providers.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

International Experience: Experience working internationally.
