Role Overview – Thuraya Turnkey Projects LLC is expanding its operations in Dubai and is hiring a talented Project Coordinator for Design & Fit-Out to join their growing team on a full-time, on-site basis. Project Coordination & Management – You will coordinate all aspects of design and fit-out projects from initial planning through successful completion. Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with architects, designers, contractors, and subcontractors, tracking project milestones and deliverables, monitoring progress against timelines, managing project documentation, facilitating site meetings, and ensuring all project activities are executed smoothly and efficiently.

Client & Stakeholder Communication – You will serve as a key liaison between clients, design teams, contractors, suppliers, and internal management to ensure seamless project execution. Your responsibilities include understanding and documenting client requirements, providing regular project updates, addressing client queries and concerns promptly, coordinating design approvals, managing expectations, and maintaining professional relationships with all stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality Control & Compliance – You will ensure that all design and fit-out work meets the company's quality standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements. This includes conducting site inspections, verifying work quality against approved designs and specifications, identifying and addressing quality issues, ensuring compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations and building codes, coordinating defect rectification, and maintaining detailed quality documentation throughout the project.

Experience Required – Relevant professional experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Assistant, or similar role within the interior design, fit-out, or construction industry is required. You should have hands-on experience managing design and fit-out projects, understanding construction processes and terminology, coordinating multiple project elements simultaneously, and working within the UAE construction sector, preferably in Dubai.

Technical & Industry Knowledge – Strong understanding of interior design processes, fit-out procedures, construction methodologies, and project management principles is essential. You should be familiar with reading architectural and MEP drawings, understanding material specifications, knowledge of finishing works, joinery, false ceiling, flooring, and other fit-out elements. Proficiency in project management software, MS Office Suite (especially MS Project and Excel), and AutoCAD basics is highly valuable.

Professional Skills & Attributes – Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities are crucial for managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal in English; Arabic is a plus), attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving project challenges are essential. You should be a team player who can work effectively with diverse teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
