Role Overview:

Maptalent is seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager to oversee and coordinate a portfolio of projects and initiatives for a public/government organization in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure that programs are executed successfully and align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Strategy: Develop and implement effective program management strategies to ensure the successful delivery of projects within specified timeframes and budget constraints.

Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of project managers, fostering effective coordination and communication to drive project success.

Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, partners, and external vendors.

Progress Monitoring: Monitor and report on program progress, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact program delivery and implement appropriate solutions and contingency plans.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align program activities with organizational objectives and priorities.

Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program management processes and methodologies.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies throughout program execution.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. PMP certification is preferred.

Experience: Proven experience in program management, with a successful track record of delivering complex projects in the public/government sector.

Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve high performance.

Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Program Management Expertise: Solid understanding of program management best practices, methodologies, and tools, with a focus on driving efficiency and effectiveness.

Strategic Mindset: Strategic thinker with the ability to make data-driven decisions to drive program success.

Regional Experience: Experience working in the UAE or the Middle East region is advantageous, with knowledge of local regulations and government processes.
